Redwood High School
Replacement of a seismically unsafe alternative high school facility began with a new master plan for the site. The project included building a temporary campus while a new modular school campus was designed and constructed on the 6.7 acre site. The completed alternative high school includes four classroom buildings, administration and multi-use building.
This was a multi-phased project with 3 contractors on the same site — one for the demo project, one for the continuation high school project, and one for the alternative high school campus and gymnasium project. This project was constructed within a fast track schedule, for the best price.
The 19,520 sf project was phased to allow for continuation of classes while the old school was demolished and the new buildings were being constructed.
