The new 22,000 square foot NorthCreek Academy houses the Children’s Ministry Center and classrooms for students in grades K-3.  The new building will allow NorthCreek to increase enrollment of their existing pre-school by almost 200 students.

A “tight” site and strict height limitations were major constraints that had to be overcome in the design of the new 1,300 seat sanctuary at NorthCreek Church.  To meet the city’s restrictive 25′ height limitation, the floor is partially below grade.  A central clerestory element was designed to create soaring volume.  The limited site also required that the sanctuary be “attached” to the existing mutli-purpose building and careful consideration was paid to code and structural implications.
