Aspen Wood, an entirely affordable senior housing project on the southern border of San Ramon,Ca. . The project will create 123 new homes at 9000 Alcosta Boulevard, close to the Walmart-anchored Country Club Village shopping center. Standard Communities and Housing On Merit are jointly responsible for the development.
The four-story complex will yield around 128,000 square feet, with 42 studios and 81 one-bedrooms. Of the 123 units, 13 will be designated as affordable to households earning about 30% of the Area median Income, 13 units for 50% AMI households, and 96 units for 60% AMI units. One apartment will be provided as the manager’s unit. Residential amenities include a community room, a recreation deck, a fitness center, and a pet spa.
The theme sketch shows an articulated facade with an assortment of blocky masses with a palette of terracotta red, grey, and white conforming to the irregularly shaped 1.4-acre parcel.
