FUSD conducted an assessment report of existing conditions in December of 2018 in response to local fire department concerns. LCA was hired to design a renovation concept for the existing 3,100 square foot theater with 117 seats into one with 500 seats. We proposed a 1,000 square foot entry canopy, a new public entryway with lobby, a ticket sales window, a new stage door and a new insulated roll-up door. The design also reserves 1,060 square feet of space for a future stagecraft workshop.
