The services of LCA were solicited by SRFD to redesign the station to get it within the budget. Because of our extensive experience in designing cost-effective fire facilities, LCA was able to downsize the project to get within the District budget and still maintain the program needs of the firefighters and the District.

As the original project design had received agency approvals, LCA was asked to assist the District in taking the project back through the community comment process, primarily with the Alamo Municipal Advisory Commission and the Alamo Improvement Association. The LCA down-sized station was carefully explained and the project received unanimous support by both community groups. The County Planning Department approvals were also obtained for the redesigned station.
